Welcome to the White Mountains! Really beautiful. I forgot what rivers that don't look like chocolate milk look like. We stopped at several scenic stops along the highway going through the White Mountain National Park to our cottage in Lincoln, NH. Great scenery. Can't wait to get out tomorrow and see things.

While in Lincoln, NH we were trying to find things to do. Julie suggested we get a pass to Flume Gorge and also include the tram ride to the top of Mt. Cannon. After we hiked up Flume Gorge we headed over to the tram a few miles up the road. It was super windy and someone told me the tram may be shut down due to high winds but we were lucky and it was running. The tram was swaying back and forth the whole way up....more at the top as you can tell by the expression on Julie's face. About the second from the last tower we passed he had to time it because it had the most movement. WHEW! Made it. It was so cold and windy at the top that we're hiking really fast so we can get to the top of the observation tower, get our pictures and see the views then get back to the tram. OMG it was cold LOL!
